RPTI Event – Celebrating Past & Present

Celebrating-Past-Present-RPTITDid you know that the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is celebrating 100 years of being established?

In honour of this, MADE and Birmingham City Council are hosting an event – part of the 100 years RTPI Urban Design Network series – in celebration of RTPI’s centenary.

Over the next few weeks, MADE and BCC will be putting together an exhibition looking at some of the buildings and places that have been established over the last 100 years. The exhibition will be launched at the special centenary celebration evening, where you will hear from a number of speakers. Can you think of a place or building to nominate for this exhibition? In any decade from 1910 – present? Are there any buildings or places in your memory that have left an impression on you? If so, email your nomination to Bianca Fowler – and it will be considered for the exhibition.

We hope you will join us for wine and nibbles and viewing the exhbition on Thursday 15th May from 5.30pm.  After hearing from speakers, a ballot will be available for guests to vote on the best decade – which will be announced at the end of the evening. Places are limited so please book asap to avoid disappointment.
